"The Bestevaer 65 S was according to many people the most beautiful yacht at the latest Hiswa Boat show" (quotation Yacht Vision Magazine, December 2004, in Dutch). This beauty did not mean that any creature comforts had to be given up: the Lady Ann is a classic-lined but also very comfortable yacht provided with all the necessary equipment. The sailing qualities received a lot of attention when designing the yacht, as her performance in competitive sailing races was important.
The owner wished to use the yacht for regatta sailing, for living on board after his retirement and for chartering activities. She had to be a 'light' and 'open' ship.
