With this hull, KM Yachtbuilders offers a unique opportunity to sail a beautiful, classic, carbon sail yacht for a very economic price. We estimate, that building a hull like this new, nowadays will cost €950.000,-.

The hull was built by Holland Composites under the name “Ghiaccio Bollente”, which means Boiling Ice. The advantages of the used materials are that it is very strong, stiff and it has a huge impact-resistance. Despite these characteristics, the material has a very low density. The epoxy resin is absolutely resistant against osmosis. All together, with the hydro-dynamic optimization of the hull specification, this offers phenomenal sail performance.

An artist impression for outfitting this hull is included, but this is of course optional.

Keel and Rudder
Below the waterline, the designers of Hoek Design have optimized the yacht – just like the keel, the rudder and the trimtab to the keel – to the highest possible degree. To accomplish this, they used the velocity prediction program of Piet van Oossanen (well-known for a.o. the Australia keel).

The price has just been lowered from 150.000 to 98.000 ex VAT.

Asking price: 98.000 (VAT not paid)
